I am a traveler and a big part of my portfolio is from the countries I have seen around the world.

My recent trip was a 2 year journey exploring Central and South America. I started in Vancouver, Canada, where I boarded a bus and went South. Buses had been my preferred choice of transportation, but I also covered vast distances - like the Amazon River - by boats. I took planes only a couple times, and it was only because of a deadline.

Buses and boats are definitely the way to go ! You can see the landscapes, meet people, eat local food, take your time to think and plan your next step. This is not the safest way to travel at times - the risks of accidents or a robbery are high in some areas of the world, but they can also happen too in the safest places. Even those you call home. I must say that I always felt quite safe everywhere I went on my travels, and I just can't wait to put my boots back on and take the first step into the unknown again !

On the last note, I would like to say 'hello' to everyone I have met on the road on the 2007 - 2009 Latin Americas trip. I miss you all and I hope we will meet again ! These were the times of our lives, and to those who are still out there in dust, heat or cold - sit back, observe, participate, and most of all - enjoy !
