Vancouver, BC - Dilemma

Talking about dirt, decay and destruction, here is another photo on the subject - this time taken in La Paz, Bolivia.
I used to walk on Prado there, the main street, many many times. There is a well known underpass close to the main downtown junction and there were murals there along the way.
I think this photo is quite symbolic - a free creative mind and urban realities, art and business. Clash of the worlds, an artists dilemma.

Vancouver, BC - The Clean-up

I thought this scenario would make for an interesting photo - the old tire tubes coming out of the dirt and the colorful garbage can.
What a contrast.
You can only imagine what else the earth there is hiding. There is a sign on the can saying something about making the place clean, and actually right now there is lots of work
going on in Playas de Tijuana to make the shore tidy.

Ensenada, Mexico - Animals at night.
The New Year 2010 has arrived. Let's have it not worse than the 2009 !
This trio was shot in Mexico, Ensenada. It was quite dark so it was difficult to balance the moving animals with those staying still,
and I didn't want to use flash. The photo came out just right - dynamic and with an artistic feel to it.
I also like the grain, which gives it some texture and makes it softer.
